• Tom Veatch, Ph.D., CEO
  Tom Veatch was born in Portland, and grew up in Thailand, Okinawa, California, and Washington. He graduated from Stanford in 1983, got a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania (not Penn State!) and was a professor at Stanford University in 1991-1993. A specialist in speech science and technology, he founded Sprex, Inc. in September 1995, to provide speech recognition and synthesis based applications and technology.
