specify what kind of audio file it is. For example:
16000Hz sample rate
Windows .wav file format
Specify how you want your results.
For example, for film animation where you want Hyperion style exposure sheets to print on your laser printer:
Set the output format to "X Sheets" (Hyperion style)
Set the frame rate to 24 which is the frame rate for film
Set the delivery method to be FTP file(s) from ftp.sprex.com/out
Or for another example (we're working on this, it's not available yet), if you want to see a monkey face talking
while lip-synched to the audio you uploaded, then:
Set the output format to QuickTime
Ignore whatever the frame rate setting is, it doesn't matter.
Ignore the delivery method, which will be to your browser.
Click on the "Start" button. It'll go and think for a while.
If it is not happy, it'll try to tell you why: maybe you
didn't specify something in the form, or your password didn't
match your user name, or there's a word in your transcript
which we will need to add to the dictionary (send us email
if you suspect this), etc.
Suspect unknown words
Sometimes the LSM will break if it doesn't
know one of the words in your transcript. For example, it
knows "Ew" but it didn't know "Eeww", until someone tried that,
and the LSM manager went and fixed it so it knew that "word".
Feel free to call Sprex or email us if you think this
happened; we are eager to make it work on your script.
