NAME
agent - speech recognition agent
SYNOPSIS
agent [ -p port ] [ -v verbosity ] [ -MVh?ct ]
DESCRIPTION
agent is associated with sprecd, a speaker-independent,
low-to-medium-vocabulary speech recognition daemon pro-
gram. agent records, using ddd , web-based client appli-
cation information and responses.
agent starts on a specified port number (4101). agent
waits for a connection, receives client information and
sends responses back across the socket, closes the socket,
and waits for the next connection.
OPTIONS
-p port Port number to wait on. Default port is
4101.
-v verbosity Verbosity of debugging output (0=low,
1=medium or 2=high) [default: 0].
-M Send i/o to multiple files according to messages
rcvd [not default].
-V Print out Version information [not default].
-h Print out help information [not default].
-? Print out help information [not default].
-c Confirm run with default settings [not default].
-t Send a test message, rather than wait for messages
[not default].
EXAMPLES
To get a list of options and their explanation, use no
options:
example% agent
To accept connections on port 4101, and log inputs via
ddd:
example% agent -p 4101 -v 2
